Horribly Inappropriate Things I've Said, Part I(a)
Ok, this is an update to this post.
I felt really bad about my horribly inappropriate (though, i still think, funny) comment. So, i found the 1L's email address and sent her an email in which i apologized profusely. I then saw her in the atrium, and she seemed to indicate that things were cool.
Today, Jody and Tony and i were sitting in the atrium, talking about the incident. To my surprise, someone next to me said "yeah, i've heard about this." Turns out, this person is in the 1L's class, and the 1L was talking about the incident and did not think my comment was funny. During that class, the 1L received my email and did not respond.
I started to feel bad again. So, i apologized to the 1L the next time i saw her. Unfortunately, this happened while she was walking in the atrium. And i shouted my apology. And she sort of seemed not to care.
So, basically, here's the moral: I'm really sorry. I'm not a sexist. I'm not going to bring this up again. Hopefully the 1L class won't start thinking i'm a huge sexist. Although, you know, they probably already do. Damn.

You know, i really don't think i'm an asshole. Oh, sure, i can be, but i'm not 100% of the time. Moreover, while i feel bad about what i said, it was meant to be a joke, not to be offensive, and i think that matters.
